Soil sampling is a great way to identify the nutrients your soil is lacking. This information can help determine fertilizer needs to produce the highest crop yield possible.
A conventional soil test is the most commonly recommended soil test. This test requires core samples be taken in random areas of the field to provide an average test throughout the field. Two-foot conventional soil tests are most common, but we do provide four-foot conventional tests for deeper analysis.
Zone soil tests use maps created to show zones indicating different crop yields, topography, or other variables. The maps label all similar values as a zone, and each zone can be tested separately from the others for a more accurate test for that zone. This gives a more specific view of the field so the grower can adjust fertilizer type or amount for each zone. We offer these tests in both two-foot and four-foot tests.
